Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at The Online Italian. Herewith are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Shipment processing time:

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

The Online Italian ships to addresses within Johannesburg and uses a third party courier service for any deliveries outside of this area. Please note that this will incur an extra charge.

Shipment confirmation

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped.


The Online Italian will look at replacing any damaged items received from our own delivery service. The Online Italian is not responsible for any damages to products when using a third party courier service and a claim should be put in directly to the service provider. Please keep all damaged items before filing a claim.
